Music and branding
Put your own sound under your clips and your own intro and outro around your highlight reels.
Background music
Upload your own tracks and ViddyFlow mixes them under your vertical shorts and under the highlight reel's teaser intro. There is no editor to open and no separate render step.
Music is always opt-in. A job with no track selected keeps your original stream audio exactly as it was, so nothing changes unless you ask for it.
Use your own music, or music you are licensed to use. ViddyFlow mixes whatever you upload. Making sure a track is cleared for the platforms you publish to is on you, and short-form platforms are aggressive about copyright matching.
What you can upload
Accepted formats are MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG and Opus, up to 10 MB per track.
WAV and FLAC are rejected on purpose. The music sits quietly underneath speech, so a lossless file buys you nothing audible and costs you upload time and storage.
| Plan | Library size | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Free | 3 tracks | Before your first purchase. |
Starter ($5) | 10 tracks | Pay-as-you-go credit pack. |
Pro ($20) | 25 tracks | Enough for a rotating library per game or mood. |
Studio ($50) | 50 tracks | The largest library. |
How the mix is controlled
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Volume | How loud the music sits under the audio. Shorts default to 12% and the teaser to 35%. |
Start offset | Where in the track playback begins, so you can skip a slow intro and land on the part with energy. |
Multiple tracks | Shorts can be given several tracks and will rotate between them, so a batch of clips does not all open with the same four bars. The teaser uses a single track. |
Shorts and the teaser take completely independent selections: you can score your shorts with one track and your reel's intro with something else, or use music on one and not the other.
Why the teaser is louder by default. Shorts sit at 12% because someone is talking over the top of them and the music is there to fill silence, not compete. The teaser is a fast montage where the music is carrying the energy, so it starts at 35%.
Branded intro and outro
Branding presets put your own clip at the start and end of a highlight reel: a channel sting, a sponsor card, a subscribe outro. Upload the clips once, save them as a preset, and pick that preset on any job.
Clips are MP4 or MOV, up to 100 MB each. Files are checked to confirm they are genuine video containers rather than trusted on their filename, so renaming something to .mp4 will not get it through.
| Plan | Presets | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Free | Not available | Branding requires a Pro or Studio credit pack. |
Starter ($5) | Not available | Branding requires a Pro or Studio credit pack. |
Pro ($20) | 1 preset | One saved intro and outro combination. |
Studio ($50) | 3 presets | Separate branding per game, series or sponsor. |
Presets can be renamed and deleted at any time from the Branding page in the dashboard.
Both are dashboard features
Music and branding cannot be driven over the API. Both work by referencing something in your account library, and those libraries live behind a browser session rather than an API key, so there is no way for an API client to list a track or a preset to point at.
A job created over the API renders with your original audio and no intro or outro. The API reference lists everything that is reachable programmatically.
